Smyrna in Spring

One of the projects I finally crossed off my list this year was taking a photography class and entering my first community art exhibit.

My love for photography was inspired by the family albums I grew up flipping through again and again. From an early age, I knew I wanted to capture moments in time with a camera.

These photographs were selected for display and were all captured close to home in Smyrna, Georgia. Photography has taught me to slow down, pay attention, and find beauty in places I might otherwise rush past.
